PS Plus October 2019 PS4 Games Lineup Revealed During State Of Play

During Sony’s State of Play livestream, plenty of details on new PlayStation 4 games were unveiled, but we also learned which ones will be included in the October 2019 PS Plus free games lineup. You’ll be able to snag the company’s latest baseball game with MLB The Show 19 and catch up on one of PlayStation’s exclusive series with The Last Of Us Remastered.

MLB The Show 19 released this past March and was quite warmly received, earning a 9 in GameSpot’s review. Although Franchise mode lacks any significant innovation, numerous other areas of the game have been improved, both in terms of its single-player content and the action on the field.

The Last of Us Remastered, meanwhile, is the enhanced PS4 re-release of Naughty Dog’s acclaimed PS3 game. It includes not just the Last Behind story DLC, but also some new features. You can read all about it in our Last of Us Remastered review.

The bigger news out of the State of Play involved the game’s sequel; we got both a release date and a new gameplay trailer for The Last Of Us Part II. We saw Ellie back in action, who was trying to track down her friend Dina. We also saw some characters from the original game such as Tommy and most importantly Joel. You can watch the trailer and get all the details in our stories below.
