PS4’s Big Halloween Sale Is Live With Great Deals On Horror Classics

As Halloween nears, it naturally makes sense to play some spooky and suspenseful games. PlayStation 4 owners are in luck, as Sony just kicked off a large Halloween sale on the PlayStation Store. The sale features more than 200 games and runs until Friday, November 1 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. If that wasn’t enough, a ton of Ubisoft games are also on sale until October 29, including The Division 2, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and Far Cry New Dawn.

Since it’s a Halloween sale, let’s start with some of the horror game highlights. The excellent Resident Evil 2 remake is available for $30 (was $60). Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within 2 markedly improved on the original and is discounted to $19.79 (was $60). For an atmospheric and haunting adventure, check out the rat-infested hit A Plague Tale: Innocence, which dropped down to $30 (was $50).

If you’ve already played Resident Evil 2 but need to round out your collection of games from the heralded survival horror franchise, you’re in luck. Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil Revelations are available for $8 each. Resident Evil 7 is up for grabs for $15 and Resident Evil Revelations 2 Deluxe Edition is $9.89.

Though it’s a Halloween sale, the offerings include far more than just strict horror games. Numerous standout games released this year are available at heavy discounts, including Rage 2 ($30), Metro Exodus ($30), and Devil May Cry 5 ($30).
