Dell Black Friday Deals 2019: 4K TVs, Laptops, PCs, And More

Dell’s Black Friday 2019 deals and Cyber Monday 2019 deals are fantastic so far–most of them begin early, on Thanksgiving Day. There’s even some miscellaneous items thrown in there for good measure, like a wireless Bose sound system and a Bluetooth speaker from UE Megaboom. Most of what Dell has on sale this Black Friday is from Dell and its subsidiary Alienware, but you can also find great deals on some products from LG, JBL Charge, and Logitech too.

The standout Black Friday deals so far are the discounts seen for Dell’s XPS models of laptops. The XPS 13 is a particularly great laptop for students and those who need a laptop for work. It has a fantastic keyboard, good battery life, and a slick look–not to mention, it’s one of GameSpot sister site CNET’s choices for best laptops of 2019. It’s not a great option for gaming but it’s on sale and definitely worth picking up if you were waiting for a great deal on a work laptop. Dell offers discounts on a handful of powerful laptops and a gaming desktop that can handle modern games at various settings.

Dell also has deals on 4K TVs, smart devices, and some excellent Bluetooth speakers. We’ve collected some of the company’s best upcoming Black Friday deals in the lists below. Some of these items go on sale at specific times, and the deal will only last as long as they’re in stock. You won’t find deals on games at Dell–for that, we recommend checking out GameStop’s best Black Friday deals or heading to our Black Friday hub and finding the retailers you love.

Best Black Friday Game Deals At Ubisoft Store: The Division 2, Rainbow Six Siege, And More

Black Friday is fast approaching, and while we haven’t officially reached the shopping holiday, retailers and online shops alike have already started their sales. That includes game studios and publishers with their own stores–like Ubisoft, which is already offering Black Friday discounts. The official site has sales on video games and merch from a variety of Ubisoft franchises.

Most of the games and DLC let you purchase through the Ubisoft store and then pick your platform, so you may actually beat the deals available through the respective Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation marketplaces. The store is offering up to 90% off some items, though many games are more in the range of 40-60% off. The site also offers $10 off purchases of $50 or more.

The biggest discounts come to special editions, which means you can grab a game and bonus DLC for less than the base cost of many games regularly. That’s the case with the Division 2 Ultimate Edition ($36), Watch Dogs 2 Gold Edition ($27), and The Crew 2 Gold Edition ($25). Meanwhile, you can pick up Rainbow Six Siege for $8, Far Cry Primal for $6, and Ghost Recon: Breakpoint for $30.

Ubisoft’s large back-catalog is discounted too, bringing some classics like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 below $5. The single lowest-priced item in the sale? The 2007 game Petz Horsez 2 for PC, which is going for a cool 50 cents.

For more on Black Friday check out all of the deals we’ve scoped out for the shopping holiday and plan your purchases accordingly. You can check out all of the Black Friday deals at Ubisoft and take a look at our picks below.

Red Dead 2 Black Friday Deals: PC Version For $44, Includes Free Games

Red Dead Redemption 2 has finally made its way to PC, and just in time–Black Friday sales have arrived, so you can pay less than the standard retail price of $60 to grab it. In fact, Black Friday is much more than a day of sales; for some retailers, it’s an event that lasts a week or more, and it’s already started.

It’s not just the PC version of RDR2 that’s on sale, either. The game’s renewed popularity now that it’s in the hands of PC players means the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game are seeing renewed interest, with sale prices to match. In some cases those prices extend beyond just the standard version of the game to encompass its Special Edition and Ultimate Edition, both of which feature extra missions and other digital goodies. In addition to Black Friday prices, there are some regular discounts floating around at current retailers, with better prices coming later this week.

Red Dead Redemption 2 PC deals

Best deal: $44.15 (comes with five free games)

No Caption Provided

Red Dead Redemption 2 recently released on PC, and you can get the standard edition for just $44.15 from digital games store Green Man Gaming. The Special edition is also discounted to $54, and the Ultimate edition is available for $67.49. It’s important to note that this deal is for a digital code that can be redeemed on Rockstar Games’ own PC launcher.

As part of Green Man Gaming’s Black Friday sale, you’ll also get a code for the Intel Starter Pack with your purchase, which lets you select five free games from a handful of options. You can find more info on that bonus and how to redeem at GMG. This deal is available until December 3.

While GMG currently has the best deal on Red Dead 2 for PC, you’ll also find the game on sale at these stores, in case the above deal sells out:

Fanatical

GameStop

Epic Games Store

Humble Bundle

Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 and Xbox One deals

Best deal: $25

No Caption Provided

While the PC version has quite a few features that aren’t available on consoles–like increased frame rates and resolutions–the PS4 and Xbox One versions are still fantastic games. The game even won GameSpot’s 2018 Game of the Year based on those versions. Best Buy will have the PS4 version and, while not directly confirmed by its ad, most likely the Xbox One version as well for just $25 during Black Friday, starting on November 27. This is the lowest price we’ve seen so far.

If Red Dead Redemption 2 sells out at that price at Best Buy, you’ll find it for $30 elsewhere during Black Friday, which is still a great price for this critically acclaimed game.

That’s pretty much what you can expect in terms of discounts on Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One during Black Friday 2019. For more great game discounts, check out our guides to the best Black Friday deals on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Borderlands 3, and more.

Black Friday 2019 PC Game Deals: $48 For Red Dead 2, The Outer Worlds For $45 At Epic

Black Friday is nearly here, and like the rest of the holiday gift-giving season, it continues to expand beyond the Friday after Thanksgiving. That means there are more sales and more savings on a ton of games and accessories. A big sale has already taken over the Epic Games Store, offering you a chance to save a lot on digital PC game downloads.

Epic’s Black Friday sale runs from now until December 2, and sees some cuts as high as 75% off. The gamut of games is fairly extensive, encompassing older releases as well as a few newer titles. The newly released Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version is on the list, seeing its price knocked down to $48 (from $60)–although it’s cheaper from Green Man Gaming at $44.15. There are a few other fresh games as well, including The Outer Worlds ($45, down from $60) and Borderlands 3 ($40, down from $60). Ghost Recon: Wildlands is half off at $30.

There are also a few smaller new games available for cheap, including Afterparty for $17 (usually $20) and Kine for $18 (down from $20); both were released in October. And of course, some of the best discounts are for games that have been out for a while. The Epic Games Store has a big chunk of the Ubisoft catalogue on sale, with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at $27 (from $60) and The Division 2 at $15 (from $60). And if you’ve been itching to play Alan Wake to see its ties with Remedy Entertainment’s latest, Control, you can snag that for just $3 (regularly $15).

Check out the full rundown of all the sales below, and stay tuned to GameSpot for all our Black Friday coverage.

Though this isn’t the holiday bundle that appears to include God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for the same, the $60 in Kohl’s cash makes it worth a look, especially if you plan on shopping at Kohl’s more throughout the holiday season. For $320, you can get the Nintendo Switch, the Game Traveler Deluxe Travel Case ($20 value), and what appears to be the PowerA Joy-Con Charging Dock ($25). Kohl’s doesn’t currently have either the case or charging dock on its website, but based on the small ad images, it appears you’ll save $25 overall. On top of that, you’ll get $90 Kohl’s Cash.

Xbox One Wireless Controller – $40

Xbox One Wireless Controller — $40 ($60)

Microsoft Store’s Black Friday Xbox One And PC Deals 2019

Microsoft has brought some serious deals to its official store for Black Friday 2019. The company is offering discounts on Xbox One S and Xbox One X bundles, wireless controllers (though the Elite Series 2 isn’t among them, sadly), and a whole lot of games. All of the Microsoft Store’s deals are live, so you don’t have to wait for the weekend of Black Friday to begin to save big on Xbox One consoles, bundles, and more.

Tons of games are on sale on Xbox Live, including Grand Theft Auto V, Castlevania Anniversary Collection, and Need for Speed Heat, as well as the full Assassin’s Creed catalog. Make sure you browse Microsoft’s official site, the Windows 10 store on a PC, or your nearest Xbox to take a gander at all the savings.

Black Friday Xbox One deals

Xbox One devices are getting discounts of up to $150 off. All Xbox One X console bundles are going for $350, while all Xbox One S bundles are $100 off, with several of them now costing $200. This also means you can get the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition for $150–that system is bundled with digital codes for Minecraft, Sea of Thieves, and bonus Fortnite content. Additionally, Xbox One controllers see lowered prices with up to $20 off, while Design Lab controllers get a $10 discount.

Microsoft is also offering new subscribers their first three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for only $1. Ultimate bundles Game Pass for console and PC, in addition to Xbox Live Gold. New subscribers will also get six months of Spotify, as long as they’re not already subscribed to the music-streaming service. On top fo that, new and existing subscribers get a free month of EA Access and three free months of Discord Nitro–like Spotify, you must also be new subscribers to both services.

Of course, a bunch of Xbox One games are on sale, too, including first-party games like Gears 5, Forza Horizon 4, and Sea of Thieves: Anniversary Edition. Third-party games, such as FIFA 20, NBA 2K20 Legends Edition, and Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition will also see discounts.

Xbox All Access returns

Microsoft also recently announced that the Xbox All Access program is back for another holiday season. Anyone who doesn’t want to pay the full price for a console upfront can instead opt for a monthly payment plan. The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition goes for $20/month, the Xbox One S for $23/month, and the powerful Xbox One X for $31/month. Each option runs for 24 months and comes with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for the full duration of the plan.

The best part of this round of All Access is that you’ll have the option to upgrade to Project Scarlett, the new Xbox console that is scheduled to arrive next holiday. Xbox One X All Access members will be eligible to upgrade after 12 months, but Xbox One S members will have to wait 18 months. All-Digital Edition members will also have to pay a $20 upgrade fee.

All upgrades must go through the retailer you purchased your original 24-month plan from, and you’ll have to re-up to a new 24-month plan (with new terms and pricing). In the US, Amazon is currently the only retailer offering All Access–in the UK, customers can subscribe starting November 5 at Smyths and GAME.

Game deals

You can check out the full sale at Microsoft and see some of the best discounts below. These prices will last until December 2, or while supplies last.

Black Friday 2019: Nintendo Switch (New Model) Will Be $250 On Thanksgiving Day

If you’ve had your eyes on the Nintendo Switch this Black Friday, we’d understand if you are disappointed with the official Nintendo bundle. A repeat from last year, the bundle includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and the launch model Switch for $300. To put it plainly, it’s underwhelming. This is especially true when you consider that Nintendo released a new Switch model with better battery life a couple of months ago. Luckily, there is a great deal on the new model Nintendo Switch at Rakuten. Starting Thanksgiving Day, Rakuten is discounting the Switch from $300 to $250.

Nintendo Switch (new model) — $250

Nintendo Switch (new model) | $250 ($300)

To get the discount, you have to use promo code THANKS20 when checking out. An exact start time for the deal hasn’t been revealed, but you should check back early on Thanksgiving Day if you’re interested.

The new model offers 4.5 to 9 hours of battery life as opposed to the launch model’s 2.5 to 6.5 range. If you have the choice between this and the official Nintendo bundle, you should absolutely pick the new model. And hey, if you really want to buy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as well, it’s available for $50 at Amazon.

This Rakuten deal is the only straight-up discount we’ve seen on the Nintendo Switch this Black Friday. Google Shopping has a bundle that includes the console, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online family subscription for $296 ($375 value).

When it comes to the Nintendo Switch Lite, there are a few deals as well. Google Shopping has the Switch Lite for $175 right now, which is $25 off. Meanwhile, Ebay has Switch Lite bundles that include Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield for $230 ($260 value).

Xbox One’s Black Friday Xbox Live Games Sale Is Live For Everyone

Black Friday is nearly upon us, but while the shopping holiday after Thanksgiving hasn’t quite arrived yet, Xbox One Black Friday digital games sale is already live. The sale previously ran with an early access period, during which it was only available to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers–but now, all Xbox One owners can shop Xbox Live’s discounts.

There are some huge savings here on more recent games, including Resident Evil 2 at 67% off, a half-price NBA 2K20, and a much cheaper Red Dead Redemption 2. We’ve rounded up a selection of deals below, and we’ve also put together a more extensive look at the best Xbox Live game deals for Xbox One owners. While the majority of what you’ll find are Xbox One games, there are also a bunch of high-quality backward-compatible games for Xbox 360 and the original Xbox that you can play on One, including earlier entries in the Splinter Cell series.

If you’re picking up an Xbox One in a Black Friday sale, this is a good opportunity to build up your collection. Plus, be sure to check out all the early Xbox Black Friday deals available to you now. Stay tuned for the possibility of more deals being added. Sony’s Black Friday PS4 PSN game sale has a staggered rollout, and while many of the games on sale are the same as on Xbox Live, we know that, for instance, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s base version won’t be on sale until November 28. It’s possible we could see the same happen on Xbox One, as only special editions of the game are currently on sale on Xbox Live.

Update: Amazon is now starting to price-match some of these Xbox One digital deals, giving you a chance to snag these games at a discount without a subscription.

Be sure to look out for other bargains, digital or otherwise, during Black Friday, and check out our guides for the best deals on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Nintendo Switch Online: Best Black Friday 2019 Deals

If you’re looking for a Switch or Switch Lite system this holiday season, you may come up disappointed when it comes to steep discounts. However, if you’re hunting for a deal on the Nintendo Switch Online service, you’re in luck this Black Friday.

Switch Online is required in order to play multiplayer Switch games online, including Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon 2. It also offers access to a bunch of classic NES and SNES games for free as long as you’re a member, and these even support new online multiplayer functionality. Some of the best games from both platforms are represented, including The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid, and Super Mario World. Furthermore, there are periodic bonuses provided for Switch Online members in certain games, including Smash Ultimate.

A Switch Online subscription normally runs you $20, but you can get it for $15 this Black Friday over at Target. Read on for a look at the deals.

Best Switch Online deals for Black Friday 2019

Membership only deals

The best (and only) Nintendo Switch Online subscription deal announced so far is at Target. You will be able to buy a 12-month subscription for $15, five bucks off the list price. That’s a reasonably good deal, and it’d be surprising to see other retailers offer much better considering the relatively low price of the membership to begin with.

If you’re more interested in a Switch Online family plan, which normally go for $35 and support up to eight users, it’s likely we’ll see that discounted as well. Target has a track record of offering Switch Online family memberships for $28 during major sales, so it’s possible that deal will make an appearance at Target or elsewhere during Black Friday weekend.

Membership bundled with games

Walmart will have the Overwatch: Legendary Edition on sale for $25, which comes with a three-month subscription of Switch Online. One other game to look out for that could be on sale is the retail edition of Tetris 99 (which comes with the paid DLC). The Switch Online exclusive comes with a 12-month subscription of Switch Online for $30. It’s possible that bundle will get discounted on Black Friday too.

Where to find Switch Online deals during Black Friday

We’ll be updating this article as more Nintendo Switch Online Black Friday deals are announced, but keep an eye on Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Amazon, and the Eshop, the Switch’s digital storefront.

In addition to gaining access to online multiplayer, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can play dozens of classic NES games and 20 SNES games, including Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Metroid. Switch Online members also get cloud saves for most games, which is an incredibly convenient feature.
