We’re quickly approaching the end of November, which means Black Friday 2019 is just around the corner. This year, the big shopping day falls on November 29, and while that’s still more than a week away, many retailers have already revealed their Black Friday ads. That includes Google Shopping, which will have deals on a handful of game consoles and other tech as part of its “Cyber 10” sale, which kicks off Black Friday and runs for 10 days.

If you’ve never used Google Shopping, it’s basically a service that lets you shop deals across the web in one place, including stores like Target, Best Buy, and Walmart. You’ll often find additional promo codes or discounts available, helping you get the best deal on consoles, games, and more. You check out directly from Google, and you’ll get free shipping above a certain minimum (usually $25-$35).

While Google’s Black Friday ad may be a little sparse, as far as game-related sales are concerned, there are still some good deals to be had, particularly if you’re looking to pick up a Nintendo Switch. The new, portable-only Switch Lite will be on sale for $175. If you prefer the flexibility of the standard model, you’ll also be able to pick up a new Switch (with improved battery life) that comes bundled with Crash Team Racing ($40 value) and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online Family Plan ($35 value) for $305.

Those aren’t the only worthwhile deals Google Shopping will offer this year; you’ll also be able to pick up a PS4 Pro along with a copy of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition for only $289. If you’re just interested in a copy of the game, Walmart will have Spider-Man: GOTY Edition for $15 during Black Friday, but this bundle is still a nice deal, especially as Sony is offering the PS4 Pro alone for $300.

Fortnite: Where To Dance At Pipe Man, Hay Man, And Timber Tent (Week 7 Challenge)

The first season of Fortnite Chapter 2 has been extended into next year, which means you have more time to complete any challenges from this season. That includes Week 7’s Trick Shot missions. As usual, most of the challenges from the batch are fairly straightforward and can be completed easily enough with a little persistence, but there’s at least one that may give you some trouble, and that’s to dance at the Pipe Man, Hay Man, and Timber Tent. If none of that made any sense to you, don’t worry; we show you how to complete the challenge below.

Where Are The Pipe Man, Hay Man, And Timber Tent Locations?

As the challenge states, you’ll need to dance in front of three different structures to complete this mission, and they may be hard to find if you aren’t already familiar with Fortnite’s new map. Fortunately, they’re not too hard to find, but they’ll require a bit of leg work to get to. The Pipe Man is sitting on a hill near the southern tip of the island, just past the snowy mountain that’s to the south of Misty Meadow. The Hay Man, meanwhile, is in the southwest corner of Frenzy Farm. Finally, the Timber Tent can be found directly south of Sweaty Sands.

How To Complete The Challenge

Once you know where all three structures are, make your way to them one by one, then use a dance emote in their general vicinity. Fortunately, you don’t need to dance in front of all three within a single round, so the most expedient way to complete the challenge will likely be to visit one landmark, dance in front of it, get yourself eliminated, then jump into another match and head to another until you’ve visited all three.

As previously mentioned, Chapter 2, Season 1 has been extended into February 2020, giving you quite a bit more time to complete all the challenges from this season. Sony Has An Excellent PS4 Slim Bundle For Black Friday 2019

PS4 Slim 1TB bundle with God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and The Last of Us Remastered – $200

Update: Sony has confirmed the PS4 holiday bundle is real as part of its official Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2019 deals, and it’ll be available at all major retailers starting next week. The PS4 Slim bundle includes three PS4-exclusive games: God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, and The Last of Us Remastered. Other Black Friday PS4 deals this year include a PS4 Pro for $300, DualShock controllers for $40, and more.

It’s still early in the Black Friday season, but it’s likely this PS4 Slim bundle will be one of the best savings you’ll find if you’re shopping around for a console. You won’t be able to snag it until the end of the month, but it’s best to know about it now, so you can keep an eye out for it as you do your Black Friday shopping.

On October 24, notable Twitter user and deal-hunter Wario64 reported he’d heard of a PS4 holiday bundle with three PlayStation hits–Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last of Us Remastered, and 2018’s God of War–and a new Black Friday ad from American retailer Belk basically confirms that deal will be available. Belk’s Black Friday ad shows the aforementioned PS4 bundle will be available for $200 USD starting November 24.

Note that Belk’s Black Friday ad shows God of War III Remastered alongside the bundle instead of 2018’s acclaimed sequel. Wario64 purports the “ad made a mistake,” which is highly plausible, but unfortunately, we can’t be sure at this time.

It’s unclear when the deal will end, but we expect it to last through the Black Friday weekend while supplies last–and those last three words are key. During Prime Day, similar PS4 bundles were among the first deals to sell out, so if you have your eyes on this bundle, be ready to go when the deal goes live. As a Sony bundle, it should be available at all the major retailers beyond just Belk.

During Black Friday, Belk will have a variety of other deals, but in terms of gaming, nothing else is particularly noteworthy beyond the PS4 bundle (a Nintendo Switch “doorbuster” is being promoted for $300, for example). Persona 5 Royal Details Are Coming In 12 Days, Likely Including A Western Release Date

Persona 5 Royal, which takes the original Persona 5 and expands upon it with new scenes, interactions, and attacks, plus an entire extra in-game semester, is coming to PlayStaion 4 in the west next year. We know that the game is due in Spring 2020, but a specific release date has not been announced, despite the game’s Japanese release having already launched on October 31.

Now the Atlus USA Twitter account has told us that an announcement is coming in 12 days (on December 3.) While it hasn’t been specific about what the announcement will contain, a release date is very likely.

A countdown timer on the Persona 5 Royal website promises that “the truth will be revealed” once it finishes counting down. We don’t know exactly what will be announced, but with the game already out in Japan, there’s not much left to reveal beyond this. Whatever news is coming, though, we can track when it’s coming down to the second.

The next game in the Persona series to release in Japan will be Koei Tecmo’s action spin-off Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. It will release for PS4 and Switch in Japan on February 20, 2020. It’s possible that we’ll find out about a western release for Scramble at the end of the countdown as well, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

Walmart’s early video game sale kicks off on November 23 at 9 PM PT / November 24 at 12 AM ET, but you’ll have to wait until November 27 for the deal on NBA 2K20.

In GameSpot’s NBA 2K20 impressions, critic Kevin Wong wrote about how the new game’s story mode attempts to have a social conscience, leaving behind the awkward attempts at humour and “hip” dialogue of previous entries. While it doesn’t quite stick the landing, Wong wrote that the basketball gameplay is still as great as it always is.

“Is it even possible to have a truly woke narrative in a game so relentlessly money and fame-driven? Perhaps not.” Wong wrote. “But NBA 2K20 asks you to accept this melding at face value. That’s impossible, but thankfully, there’s a legacy of NBA 2K quality that makes the reconciliation less important. The story and how it’s told don’t hold up to scrutiny. Luigi’s Mansion 3 Black Friday Deals: Will The Nintendo Switch Exclusive Be On Sale?

Nintendo’s released a surprising amount of first-part games this year, including Pokemon Sword and Shield, Astral Chain, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses. You shouldn’t sleep on Luigi’s Mansion 3, either, which brings the beloved series back to consoles for the first time since the original Gamecube game. With it being a recently-released Nintendo game discounts are few and far between, but you can get it for under retail price ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, if you know where to look.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 Black Friday deals haven’t been announced, but you can still save by shopping at Walmart.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 — $49.94 (in-store only)

For most of the year, Walmart has routinely discounted new games, including Luigi’s Mansion 3, to $50 at launch. Unfortunately, the $10-off deal is usually only available in-store. If you click the link above, you’ll notice that Walmart’s website has Luigi’s Mansion 3 for the regular retail price of $60. Even though you have to go to the store to snag this deal, you can buy it now and avoid the Black Friday rush.

Outside of Walmart’s in-store price, it’s not looking like any major retailers will have discounts on Luigi’s Mansion 3 this Black Friday. Walmart, Best Buy, and Target have already released their ads, and GameStop has revealed some early Black Friday deals. Luigi’s Mansion 3 hasn’t shown up in any of them. We don’t know the North American Eshop Black Friday deals just yet, but the UK Black Friday sale doesn’t feature Luigi’s Mansion 3 either.

We’d recommend keeping an eye on Amazon, as the retailer will likely have waves of deals throughout Black Friday weekend. But considering the fact that Amazon routinely copies other retailers when it comes to game sales, we wouldn’t say a Luigi’s Mansion 3 discount is particularly likely at Amazon.

The charming Switch adventure earned an 8/10 in our Luigi’s Mansion 3 review. Reviewer Kevin Knezevic called Luigi’s Mansion 3 “perhaps the best installment in the series yet,” praising it for the numerous new mechanics and more open structure. While the controls can sometimes get in the way of the joyous experience, Last Resort Hotel is filled with clever puzzles, fun ghost encounters, and a treasure trove of hidden collectibles.

Black Friday 2019 is filled with all kinds of deals on the year’s biggest games. Now that we know what most stores will have on offer ahead of the shopping holiday, we’ve rounded up the best deals on all the hottest games, and that includes Madden NFL 20. There are quite a few deals on EA’s football sim, but the best deal we’ve seen so far is at Walmart, where you can get the game for only $27.

Walmart’s Black Friday sale kicks off on November 27 and includes many other games, in addition to Madden. Most of their prices edge out Best Buy and Target, though there are a few that are cheaper at other retailers. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date on the lowest prices right here on GameSpot.

EA’s latest football game received a score of 8/10 in our Madden NFL 20 review. GameSpot’s Eddie Makuch praised its new X-Factor abilities, week-to-week challenges, and on-the-sticks gameplay, the latter of which he says is “the best it’s ever been.” However, the story elements of the QB1 mode and the minimal changes to Franchise mode left him wanting.

“Madden NFL 20 is an improved version of the annualized professional football series that excels in some areas and leaves something to be desired in others,” he wrote. “The new QB1 career mode–which includes a barebones NCAA football experience–overall feels like a half-baked idea that doesn’t deliver anything meaningful or interesting. When it comes to the on-the-field action, however, the new X-Factor and Superstar abilities shake up the familiar gameplay formula to give seasoned players and newcomers alike a fresh way to scheme plays and orchestrate strategy on both sides of the ball.”

FIFA 20 Black Friday Deals: Save More Than 50% On The Soccer Sim

FIFA 20 is one of the biggest games of the year, but if you’re willing to hold off for just one more week or so, you can score a copy for more than 50% off. During Black Friday, you’ll be able to grab a copy of EA’s soccer (or football, if you live outside the United States) game for just $27 at Walmart.

The sale price only applies to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of FIFA 20. We haven’t seen the Switch version, dubbed FIFA 20 Legacy Edition, in any Black Friday ad thus far. But to be perfectly honest, the Switch version of FIFA 20 is missing a bunch of features and should probably be avoided anyway. Walmart’s price will be available for online shoppers starting November 27 at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET and in stores on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

GameStop hasn’t released its Black Friday ad yet, and there’s a chance Amazon could also beat Walmart’s price. In all likelihood, though, Walmart’s deal will be the best.

In our 8/10 FIFA 20 review, Oscar Dayus praised the improvements to Ultimate Team, marveled at the realistic graphics, and came away impressed with how the Volta street soccer mode added to the variety of the overall package.

Borderlands 3 Black Friday Deals 2019: Save Big On Gearbox’s Latest Loot Shooter

Borderlands 3 is barely two months old, but we’re already seeing savings as big as 50% off for Black Friday this year, courtesy of Best Buy. $28 is the lowest price we’ve seen for Gearbox’s critically acclaimed, over-the-top loot-based shooter so far.

Best Buy’s Black Friday ad only mentions the PS4 version, so it’s not entirely clear if the Xbox One version will be discounted to $28 as well. We imagine it will be, but if for some reason it’s not, Walmart will have Borderlands 3 for $30 on both Xbox One and PS4.

We’re still waiting on GameStop‘s Black Friday ad, and we don’t know what price Amazon will sell it for, so there’s a chance a better deal on Borderlands 3 could crop up. But make no mistake: $28 for a recently released AAA game is an awesome deal.

In our Borderlands 3 review, Jordan Ramée awarded the game an impressive 8/10, commending the story for bringing the ten years of Borderlands 3 to a rewarding close. He also praised the new emphasis on weapon brands and character class variety, but he wasn’t too fond of the bullet-sponge bosses.

Black Friday 2019: Deals On Nintendo Switch Online Service

The new Nintendo Switch Online service has become a growing part of the Nintendo Switch package in the last year. For $20 a year, you get access to the online components of multiplayer games, as well as treasure trove of classic NES and SNES games you can play for as long as you’re a member. If you’re planning on buying a new Switch or Switch Lite you should definitely consider picking it up, since some of the console’s best games, like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon 2, all require it. At $20 the service is pretty cheap compared to its competitors Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a couple of discounts on Nintendo Switch Online this holiday season.

Best Switch Online deals for Black Friday 2019

Membership only deals

The best (and only) Nintendo Switch Online subscription deal announced so far is at Target. You will be able to buy a 12-month subscription for $15, five bucks off the list price. That’s a reasonably good deal, and it’d be surprising to see other retailers offer much better considering the relatively low price of the membership to begin with.

If you’re more interested in a Switch Online family plan, which normally go for $35 and support up to eight users, it’s likely we’ll see that discounted as well. Target has a track record of offering Switch Online family memberships for $28 during major sales, so it’s possible that deal will make an appearance at Target or elsewhere during Black Friday weekend.

Membership bundled with games

Walmart will have the Overwatch: Legendary Edition on sale for $25, which comes with a three-month subscription of Switch Online. One other game to look out for that could be on sale is the retail edition of Tetris 99 (which comes with the paid DLC). The Switch Online exclusive comes with a 12-month subscription of Switch Online for $30. It’s possible that bundle will get discounted on Black Friday too.

Google Shopping will have a console bundle that comes with a Nintendo Switch Online 12-month family membership. Google hasn’t announced when the deal will be available, but for $305 you’ll get the Switch console with upgraded battery life, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and the 12-month family membership ($374 overall value).

Where to find Switch Online deals during Black Friday

We’ll be updating this article as more Nintendo Switch Online Black Friday deals are announced, but keep an eye on Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Amazon, and the Eshop, the Switch’s digital storefront.

In addition to gaining access to online multiplayer, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can play dozens of classic NES games and 20 SNES games, including Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Super Metroid. Switch Online members also get cloud saves for most games, which is an incredibly convenient feature.
