It costs $10 a month to join Game Pass for Xbox One.

Xbox Game Pass for PC

Xbox Game Pass for PC provides access to over 150 PC games through the Xbox app on Windows 10. Like the console version, new games are added every month, and special discounts are available in case you want to keep any games on their way out. First-party Xbox One games launch on PC the same day as console, so you gain access to them as well. You can join Game Pass for PC at $1 for the first month, after which the price goes up to $5 a month.

What is Xbox Live Gold?

Thanksgiving is upon us, and the Black Friday deals are starting to roll in. There are a ton of great deals on all sorts of video games, consoles, and more, but Black Friday also has quite a few special deals in store for everything Pokemon. Whether that’s Pokemon Sword & Shield, the Poke Ball Plus, plush figures, or anything in between, Black Friday has an onslaught of Pokemon discounts.

While the latest entries in the series, Pokemon Sword and Shield, may have only just launched on Nintendo Switch this month, you can already find the games for cheaper at Ebay with free shipping. That’s not the only worthwhile deal available through the digital store. If you’re interested in the new Pokemon games but don’t yet have a Switch, you can pick up a Nintendo Switch Lite in your choice of color along with a copy of Pokemon Sword for $230–$30 off of their usual combined price.

Some older Pokemon games are also on sale ahead of Black Friday. Black Friday 2019 is the biggest shopping day of the year, and Best Buy isn’t one the miss out on the chance to get tons of people into their stores. However, you don’t have to wait until Friday to take advantage of some of Best Buy’s best Black Friday deals, which include tons of PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch discounts, along with more sales on TVs, laptops, movies, and more.

Best Buy has quite a few great deals in its early Black Friday 2019 sale, which includes offers on a great PS4 bundle with three excellent games, huge price cuts on Xbox One X and S consoles, and much more. It’s Black Friday weekend, and for many PC gamers, that means only one thing: another round of ridiculous game sales on Steam. Valve’s storefront is once again loaded with huge discounts on some of the biggest (and smallest) games of the year join a handful of PC games on sale elsewhere.

Steam’s Black Friday sale runs from November 26-December 3 and features discounts on a plethora of titles up to 90% off. Some noteworthy sales include deals on newer games like Code Vein ($42, down from $60), Gears 5 ($30, down from $60), The Surge 2 ($30, down from $50), Void Bastards ($22.49, from $25), and plenty more.

Post-apocalyptical first-person shooter Rage 2 has a pretty steep discount right now, going from $60 to $19.79, a total savings of 67 percent. Elsewhere, a bunch of indie games are up for grabs with some solid discounts. These include Dead Cells ($17.49), Forager ($16), Terraria ($5), The Escapists 2 ($6), and many more. A bulk of Rockstar Games’ library is also on sale, such as Grand Theft Auto V ($15 USD), Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas ($5.24), Max Payne 3 ($7), L.A. Noire ($7) and others.

Steam also has a smorgasbord of JRPGs on sale. The list is extensive, but some noteworthy titles are Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy XI, God Eater 3, Romancing SaGa 3, Tales of Berseria, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, and more.

It’s worth shopping around, though, as you may find better deals at places like Green Man Gaming and Fanatical. Further, some of those codes can sometimes be redeemed on Steam.

In conjunction with the Autumn sale, Steam has opened voting for its Steam Awards, which includes accolades like Game of the Year and Better With Friends. Winners will be announced on December 31.
