Dragon Ball FighterZ’s Final DLC Fighter Arrives This Week

Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting the final fighter in its second Fighter Pass this week, with Broly (DBS) arriving on December 5 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The second character DLC pack has so far delivered new fighters Jiren, Videl, Goku (GT), Janemba, and Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, and the Dragon Ball Super iteration of Broly is the final character included. He will be available for everyone with the Fighter Pass, and for separate purchase, on December 5.

It’s not clear whether there will be a third Fighters Pass for the now nearly two-year-old fighting game; a total of 12 characters have been added since launch. You can check out Broly’s moves and techniques in the trailer below.

Broly has actually already come to the game as part of the first Fighter Pass, but this iteration is a slightly different take and design. It’s not unusual for Dragon Ball FighterZ to have multiple models of the same character, all with different move sets (Goku appears in four different iterations, not including fusions), but Broly is distinct because the Super version of the character is “canon” within the main series. The original Broly character introduced into the game only exists in the Dragon Ball Z movies, which are not considered canon. Dragon Ball Super: Broly presented a new take on the character and his backstory, and it’s from that film that this fighter’s moves and appearance have been pulled.

The next Dragon Ball game, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, will release on January 17, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Whereas FighterZ is a fighting game, Kakarot will be an action adventure.

Cyber Monday 2019 Sony PS4 Deals: PS4 Pro, PS Plus, And More Leftover Black Friday Deals

Update: Black Friday is coming to a close, but Cyber Monday 2019 is just getting started. As part of its official holiday sale, Sony is still offering many of the same PlayStation offers from Black Friday 2019, although some of the most popular deals, like the PS4 Slim bundle and PSVR mega pack, sold out quickly and are still hard to find. We expect they’ll restock on Monday, but act quickly if you’re looking to grab one of these console bundles for yourself.

Accessory deals are easier to find, including DualShock 4 controllers for $39 each, PS Plus for $45, and the PlayStation Gold wireless headset for $70. The PSVR bundle with Blood & Truth, Everybody’s Golf VR, and two motion controllers is still available for $250 at multiple retailers going into Cyber Monday. You also shouldn’t have an issue snagging PlayStation hits like God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for $10 each–those deals are in the PlayStation Store, if anything. More recent PS4 exclusives will still be on sale for $20, although Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition has been sold out frequently.

For more info, check out our guide to the best Cyber Monday 2019 PS4 deals, including the best game deals still available. Cyber Monday is the last day to claim Sony’s official holiday deals.

More Cyber Monday 2019 deals

Original story follows.

Sony has revealed their official Black Friday PS4 deals for Black Friday 2019, and they’re pretty tempting if you haven’t picked up Sony’s latest console yet, need a new one, or are just browsing for a second console in your home or office. Some of these deals were leaked ahead of time by various retailer Black Friday ads, but some deals, like a $100 discount on the PS4 Pro, are a nice surprise. These deals are already live at most major retailers in the United States, where they’ll end December 2. The deals will be live in Canada from November 28 to December 6.

For those looking to grab a powerful console with a great library of games, you can’t go wrong with the PS4 Pro at its Black Friday price: $300 USD. Alternatively, an excellent PS4 Slim bundle will be available for just $200 USD, and it includes three PS4-exclusive classics: God of War, The Last of Us Remastered, and Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition. While the PS5 is slated to release next holiday season, that’s still at least a year away, and for budget-savvy shoppers, these console discounts are a welcome surprise.

Some of 2019’s PS4-exclusive releases will be on sale for just $20 USD, including Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition, which includes all DLC. You’ll also be able to grab Days Gone, MediEvil, Concrete Genie, and MLB The Show 19 at that price. Meanwhile, some older PS4 classics will be just $10 USD (down from $20). The PlayStation Hits collection includes God of War, The Last of Us Remastered, Persona 5, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and more.

If you’ve been interested in PlayStation VR, Black Friday is also bringing an excellent PSVR bundle with five games, and it’s perhaps the best offer we’ve seen on PSVR. For $200 USD, you’ll get not only the PSVR headset and camera but also vouchers to download some of the system’s best games: Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Skyrim VR, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Everybody’s Golf VR, and PlayStation VR Worlds. Alternatively, there’s a two-game bundle that includes Blood & Truth and Everybody’s Golf VR for $250 USD, but note that this bundle also includes two PS Move controllers (which can cost $100 on their own).

Finally, there are some less-than-stellar offers to be aware of as well, like the PlayStation Gold wireless headset for $70 USD (it’s already $69 on Amazon right now) and the 12-month PS Plus membership for $45. The PS Plus membership price is a particular bummer as it’s been offered for $40 in previous years, but it’s still likely places like Amazon, Ebay, and Newegg will offer it for cheaper during Black Friday.

Now that PlayStation has announced its official deals, we have a pretty good idea of what the best PS4 deals will be during Black Friday. Be sure to check out our guides to the best overall PS4 deals as well as the best deals on PS4 games and consoles and accessories.

Update: While Black Friday 2019 has ended at Amazon, the site’s Cyber Monday deals are just getting started. Check out all the best gaming offers, including PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch deals, in our complete Amazon Cyber Monday 2019 guide.

Black Friday 2019 is in full swing at Amazon, which has been offering online deals as part of its holiday sale for the past few weeks. Amazon’s Black Friday offerings have really ramped up in the past 48 hours, but apparently they won’t be around for much longer, as a new countdown clock on the site seems to indicate Amazon’s Black Friday sale will be over around midnight PT / 3 AM ET tonight. That said, we fully expect another round of deals to go live this weekend and certainly Monday as Amazon launches its Cyber Monday sale.

While the gaming deals at Amazon are starting to look a little sparse, there are still good discounts to be had on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch games as well as PSVR, Switch Joy-Cons, and controllers. As usual, Amazon’s sale includes a mix of Lightning Deals–which are only available for a limited time–and longer-term deals that should be available for the duration of the sale or while supplies last.

Unsurprisingly, some of the best deals have sold out already at Amazon, like the PS4 Slim bundle with God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, and The Last of US Remastered as well the PSVR mega pack that came with five great games. However, you can still find a lot of good game discounts like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for $38, Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Switch for $25, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice for $25.

Read on for more of the best Black Friday 2019 deals for gaming at Amazon right now.

Black Friday

from GameSpot – Game News https://www.gamespot.com/articles/best-xbox-one-deals-for-cyber-monday-2019-consoles/1100-6471153/

When Does Cyber Monday 2019 Start? Best Gaming Deals At Amazon, Walmart, And More

With Black Friday 2019 officially behind us, we’re turning our eyes forward to Cyber Monday, which is really just an extension of this weekend’s shopping bonanza. Because so many people now choose to shop online for Black Friday rather than shove through brick-and-mortar stores for doorbuster deals, the weekend between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is now just as ripe for deals as Friday itself and basically blends the two shopping holidays together. That said, there’s still plenty to look forward to in the way of deals this Cyber Monday, if Black Friday was any indication of this year’s discounts.

What is Cyber Monday, exactly?

Cyber Monday is basically just more Black Friday madness, except you’re probably sitting at a desk pretending to work while browsing deals. The online shopping holiday is relatively new, dating back only to 2005, and it was created to encourage people to shop online and to compete with brick-and-mortar stores’ sales on Black Friday.

Don’t expect to see any deals on Cyber Monday that are better than what we saw on Black Friday, but you may see some of the most popular deals return, as retailers will hold back stock in order to have enough to sell on Cyber Monday. So if you didn’t snag that coveted console or game deal during Black Friday, you may have a chance on Monday.

When does Cyber Monday 2019 start?

Cyber Monday is always the Monday after Thanksgiving, and this year, that falls on December 2. However, deals will start at midnight or even earlier, depending on the store. Here’s what we know in terms of Cyber Monday start times for Amazon, Walmart, and more.

Amazon

Amazon’s Cyber Monday 2019 sale has begun already. You can check out the Cyber Monday Countdown on its homepage now, along with the pre-Cyber Monday deals. Expect the best deals to launch on Monday, however.

Walmart

Walmart has confirmed its Cyber Monday sale will begin at 12:01 AM ET on Monday, meaning Pacific Coast shoppers can get started around 9 PM on Sunday.

Best Buy

Best Buy’s Black Friday sale runs through Sunday, and some of those deals will extend into Monday. However, one-day-only deals will also launch on Monday. No start time has been given.

Target

Target’s Cyber Monday sale launches on Sunday and will run through December 8, an entire week of deals. Target will also offer a Green Monday sale on December 9.

Ebay

Ebay had some of the best deals around for Black Friday, so be sure to check out its deals for Cyber Monday. New deals will be available every hour on Monday.

Digital game sales (Nintendo Eshop, Steam, PSN, Xbox Live)

All the major digital game sales will simply continue through Cyber Monday, containing the same deals they did for Black Friday.

Best Cyber Monday deals available now

Plenty of Black Friday deals are still available, and you can expect them to last through Cyber Monday. For the deals that have sold out, there’s a solid chance they’ll make a comeback next week, offering you another chance to snag the Nintendo Switch Lite or that Xbox One bundle you wanted. For now, check out some of the best Cyber Monday deals you can snag now–no need to wait until Monday.

Best Cyber Monday 2019 gaming deals

How to find the best Cyber Monday deals

While most major retailers will have competitive pricing during Cyber Monday, we’ve seen the best deals at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. GameStop’s deals were fairly lackluster during Black Friday, so don’t expect to find the best gaming deals at the brick-and-mortar retailer. However, look beyond the major retailers, and you’ll likely find even better prices at digital stores like Ebay, Rakuten, and Google Shopping. By offering various promo codes, these stores were able to beat the prices at major stores like Best Buy, and they’re perfectly legitimate places to shop, often offering free shipping as well.

To ensure you’re getting the best price, you can use CamelCamelCamel to check the price history on products at Amazon and browser extension Honey to find coupons from across the web. Browser add-on PriceBlink will also let you know if a specific product is cheaper elsewhere.

Of course, you’ll want to stay tuned to GameSpot, as we’ll be covering all the best deals for Cyber Monday 2019 through this weekend and next week. And remember: If you spot a good deal, hop on it fast, as the hottest products will sell out in the blink of an eye. For the most up-to-date information, be sure to follow GameSpot Deals on Twitter–we’ll keep you posted on the best deals in gaming and entertainment as we spot them.
