Alien: Isolation Gets A Second Wind On Nintendo Switch Next Month
Alien: Isolation, Creative Assembly’s take on Ridley Scott’s Alien franchise, will launch on December 5 for Nintendo Switch. Feral Interactive, the studio responsible for the port, confirmed the news via an announcement trailer.
In addition to the main game, which tells an original story featuring Ellen Ripley’s daughter, the Nintendo Switch port also includes Alien: Isolation’s two DLCs–Crew Expendable and Last Survivor. Both story add-ons see you back with Nostromo’s original crew, which includes reuniting with Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley. The game is available to pre-purchase on the Nintendo eshop for $35 USD / $52 AUD / £27 GBP.
While Alien: Isolation makes its way to Nintendo Switch next month, the game is available on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. You can also pick it up through Xbox Game Pass.
Feral Interactive is a publisher that has done a number of macOS and Nintendo Switch ports, including BioShock 1 and 2, a plethora of the Lego games, Grid Autosport, a few of the XCOM games, and more.
We gave Alien: Isolation a 6/10 in our review, saying, “Alien: Isolation provides us a glimpse into a future that holds the Alien game you’ve always wanted. It is not, however, the vessel that carries you there.”
